Dè tha dol?

Dè tha dol? is the Isle of Harris’ fortnightly printed newsletter.

Owned and produced by Harris Voluntary Service, its primary aim is to keep the community informed about the news and events that affect them, and to give local organisations the opportunity to raise awareness about their work. Articles and photographs are contributed by the HVS team and by community groups, schools and clubs.

As part of its service Dè tha dol? carries local planning and crofting applications, grant opportunities, bin collection timetables and the Leabhar La - a What’s On page which provides an overview of the fortnight’s activities (inclusion is free of charge).

Dè tha dol? is available from shops around Harris for £1 per issue (as well as via online and postal subscription). The newsletter does not make a profit and is paid for by a combination of sales, support from advertisers and HVS funds. Advertising rates are reduced for Harris Voluntary Service Members.
